Georgia's 2014 305(b)/303(d) List Documents- Approved May 13, 2016

The Georgia 2014 305(b)/303(d) draft list of waters was prepared in accordance with Sections 305(b) and 303(d) of the Federal Clean Water Act and guidance from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The draft 2014 305(b)/303(d) list was sent to U.S. EPA for approval on October 7, 2014. The draft list was amended on November 13, 2015 to move the Savannah Harbor from Category 4a to Category 5R. On May 13, 2016, U.S. EPA approved the 2014 303(d) list, including the placement of the Savannah Harbor in Category 5R. In addition, U.S. EPA withdrew the existing 2006 dissolved oxygen TMDL for the Savannah Harbor.

Georgia's 2010 305(b)/303(d) Integrated Report was prepared in accordance with Sections 305(b) and 303(d) of the Federal Clean Water Act and guidance from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

A description of the purpose of the 305(b)/303(d) list of waters, a brief explanation as to how it was developed and a description of how the list of waters is organized is provided in the first link below “Description of the 305(b)/303(d) List of Waters”. It is recommended that those not familiar with the Integrated List of Waters read this document before viewing the rest of the material. The links for the 305(b)/303(d) list of waters below is separated based on water type (i.e. streams, lakes, etc.) for quicker viewing. All documents are in .pdf format.

Georgia's 2008 Integrated 305(b)/303(d) Report (also referred to as Water Quality in Georgia 2006-2007)

The following report contains a comprehensive evaluation of Georgia's surface water quality as required by Section 305(b) and 303(d) of the Clean Water Act. The links for the 305(b)/303(d) list of waters found in Appendix A have been separated below for quicker viewing. All documents are in .pdf format.

Please note that a number of formatting changes have been made to the 2008 list. A summary of the formatting changes is provided in the attached document labeled “Summary of Formatting Changes to the 2008 List of Waters”. It is recommended that the reader review this document before viewing the tables of assessed waters.
